PPC myEnergy SolarNet

PPC offers you 2 solutions:

- PPC myEnergy SolarNet⁺ (without a battery)
- PPC myEnergy Solar NetSave (with a battery for the use of stored energy during the night or whenever necessary) 

• With the all-around PPC myEnergy SolarNet+ solution, your Photovoltaic System generates electricity that is either consumed directly in your home (self-consumption) or injected into the grid. The "absorbed energy" is the electricity drawn from the grid when the PV System is not producing (at night or in cloudy weather). 
• With the all-round PPC myEnergy SolarNetSave solution, you can also store the excess energy produced by your Photovoltaic System in the Battery (with a storage capacity of up to 30 kWh) so that you can use it when your Photovoltaic System is not producing and you would need to absorb electricity from the grid for consumption in your home (night, cloudy weather, etc.)

Those with an active electricity supply and a legally existing available space can install a Photovoltaic System (roof, pergola, and space on the plot). This space must be on your property or be legally used by you. The Photovoltaic System is suitable for installation in both single-family homes and apartment buildings. You must have exclusive use of the roof or a portion of the roof with the written consent of the other owners for installation in an apartment building. If more than one apartment owner wants to install a Photovoltaic System, separate systems can be installed on the shared roof. The basic requirement is that there is enough space on the roof for each Photovoltaic System to be installed and connected to the corresponding supply.

The photovoltaic panels generate electricity, which is then passed through the inverter. A portion or all of this energy is directly consumed (synchronization). If there is surplus energy, it is injected back into the grid.

The photovoltaic panels generate electricity, which is then passed through the inverter. A portion or all of this energy is directly consumed (synchronization). If there is any excess energy, it is used to charge the storage system (battery). If there is any remaining excess energy after charging the storage system, it is injected back into the grid.

Installing a Photovoltaic System lowers the cost of your home's electricity consumption because you consume the energy you generate. Furthermore, you reduce your environmental footprint by using green energy, which reduces the release of greenhouse gases and CO₂.

It is typically recommended for homes with an annual consumption of more than 4,000kWh and requires approximately 40 square meters of available space for a 5kW PV system, which can produce approximately 7,500kWh per year.

You will receive a personalized offer by filling out the online offer form on dei.gr. The offer will describe in detail the proposed equipment, the total cost of installing your photovoltaic system, the estimated annual production, your annual financial benefit, the payback time of your investment, and the environmental benefit. Immediately following that, a qualified PPC technical advisor will contact you to fully explain the benefits of such an investment. He will answer any questions you may have and inform you of the next steps required to complete the purchase and installation of the PV System in your home.

We provide our customers with complete Photovoltaic System solutions, which include:

1. All-round service for the continuous operation of a Photovoltaic System in your home. From the initial customized proposal to installation, grid connection, and post-installation supervision to ensure smooth operation
2. One-year insurance coverage. Insurance of equipment against natural disaster damage and compensation for lost revenue during the damage period. The insurance policy is activated following HEDNO'S connecting of the Photovoltaic System to the grid

You can always switch providers, but a new contract must be signed with your new provider for the time remaining until the 25-year period from the date of your PV system's initial grid connection expires.

The Photovoltaic Panels installed on terraces are supported by special tie rods that are insulated with special chemical resins, preventing any water inflow. The Photovoltaic Panels installed on roofs are supported with special P-type brackets under specific tiles, and any holes drilled are also insulated with special resins.

• Complete the steps on dei.gr Photovoltaic System personalized offer tool. If you are interested in financing through interest-free installments, you should submit the relative application. It is processed by the National Bank within 24 hours and the results are communicated to the interested party
• Accept the offer customized to the needs specified in the tool
• Contact a qualified, personal PPC consultant who will explain the offer and go over all of the details of buying and installing a Photovoltaic System in your home

Upon the completion of the application form through the digital tool of PPC, you can proceed with the digital funding application for 12 or 24 interest-free installments. You just have to select the "installments" type of payment.

The funding of 12 or 24 installments is provided in collaboration with the National Bank.

In case of selection of the interest-free installment funding through the National Bank, you will have to advance 30% to PPC of the final cost as it is derived after the inspection. The rest of the amount will be paid off in 12 or 24 interest-free installments to the National Bank (if the funding application has been already approved).

The funding application is initiated through hyperlinks that appear in one of the following spots. Selecting it, you are redirected to the digital page of the National Bank to complete the funding form.

• In the final thank you page, after you have submitted the interest form through PPC’s digital tool.
• In the initial offer that you will receive through e-mail after the sending of the interest form.
• In the final offer that you will receive after the inspection.

The highest amount of funding for approval refers to 70% of the total cost of the photovoltaic system, as it eventuates from the personalized offer tool on dei.gr with an increment of 25%. This increment is made as a provision for the coverage of the VAT which is not calculated in the offer delivered from the digital tool plus any possible extra cost that may be added after the final inspection and the sending of the final offer.

The approval process is not binding before the signing of the final offer, and the funding amount refers to the approval of the highest amount.

The outcome of the funding approval application is shared with the interested party within 24 hours.

The final funding amount and the amount that will be required for payoff in installments refer to 70% of the total amount of the final offer after the inspection.

Payment in installments is done according to the Terms and Conditions of the National Bank. PPC takes no responsibility for any of the NBG processes.

The National Bank is responsible for the acceptance or the decline of the funding application as well as the signing and management of the relative contract. PPC takes no responsibility. Should your funding application be declined, PPC cannot intervene in the result. However, you can apply to change the payment method and pay in whole, gaining a 10% discount.

Additional Equipment for PPC myEnergy SolarNetSave

• Huawei's LUNA2000 battery that consists of a power control unit and a 5kWh storage element. It enables storage system expansion from 5 to 30kWh.

Absorbed electrical energy: Electricity absorbed from the grid and consumed at home is called absorbed electrical energy.

Recorded electrical energy: The energy produced by the PV system and pushed to the grid because there was no corresponding consumption by the household.

Self-consumption: Self-consumption is when the electricity generated by PV is used directly to meet the household's energy needs.

Synchronization: Synchronization refers to the situation in which the electricity generated by the PV system is consumed at the precise moment in time at the customer's installation. The synchronization is calculated as the percentage of energy produced to directly meet the household's energy needs relative to its overall consumption. The self-generator is charged neither electricity supply costs nor grid usage costs for the electricity self-consumed in the residence with a PV system.

Produced energy: the total amount of energy produced by the PV system, which can be used directly for home needs or injected into the grid.

It is recommended to install special equipment (solar optimizers) to improve the performance of the PV System when shadows are created at the installation site or when PV panels are placed with different orientations. The cost of the specialized equipment is determined on an individual basis.
