The timetable of the Off-Peak Tariff is defined by HEDNO.
All year round: 23:00 until 07:00
You can take greater advantage of the Off-Peak Tariff when you use energy consuming electrical appliances during reduced charge hours.
Also, you can benefit from reduced consumption of electrical appliances that operate all day long (e.g. refrigerator, freezer, electronic equipment on hold), because the 1/3 of the energy they consume will be charged with the reduced price of the night tariff. Also, the consumption of safety lighting bulbs will be charged with lower price during nighttime.
You are mostly benefited from Professional Γ23 if a significant part of your consumption takes place during reduced charge hours (22:00-8:00), as the billing price during normal charge hours (daytime consumption) is higher than what you would be charged if you had chosen one of the other Professional tariffs (Γ21, Γ22).
