The Supply Charge will result from a fixed component (Basic Supply Price) and a variable component (Fluctuation Mechanism) and will be reflected in the electricity bill as a single price (Final Supply Price). The final price of each month will be posted on our website www.dei.gr by the 1st day of each month of consumption and will be accompanied by a detailed file with information on how to verify the price.

In particular, in the Special Tariffs the charges consist of:

  • The monthly fee
  • The Final Supply Charge, which will include the Basic Supply Charge and the Fluctuation Mechanism

FAQs

The timetable for the dual-zone reduced electricity rate system is established by Ministerial Decision No. YPEN/GDE/11742/460 (Government Gazette Β’ 295/31.01.2025) and is announced by HEDNO.

Winter period from November till March, as of 01.02.2025:

  • Day zone: 12:00 - 15:00
  • Night zone: 02:00 - 05:00

Summer period from April till October:

  • Day zone: 11:00 - 15:00
  • Night zone: 02:00 - 04:00

Supplies with a dual-rate meter automatically transitioned to the new timetable on 01.02.2025. The sole exclusions are supplies that, due to HEDNO technical reasons, cannot be automatically changed to the new zones and must continue to operate under the old schedule applied before 01.02.2025. These customers are notified individually by a letter included in their bill (the first one they will receive after 01.02.2025), and they can submit a request to HEDNO to be included in the new schedule.

Customers can address HEDNO about whether they have switched to the new dual-rate schedule in the following ways:
